Anne Elizabeth Schmid (nee Mackay)

On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, Anne Elizabeth Schmid (nee Mackay) passed away peacefully in Geneva, Switzerland, enveloped by the love of her family. She was the cherished wife of Yann Schmid, a devoted mother to Loic and Jonathan, and a beloved sister to Margaret, Sheila, Murray, and George, as well as the late John, Kathleen, Bill, and Ramsay. Anne fought a courageous and combative battle with cancer, inspiring all who knew her with her strength and grace. A memorial service will take place in Keiss at a date to be announced later.
